RVA Green the Scene won the 2016 Virginia Recycling
Association (VRA) Recycler of the Year award for recycling and composting efforts in
partnership with the Virginia Green Travel Alliance during the 2015 UCI Road
World Championships. Alicia Zatcoff, sustainability manager (second from right), accepted the award on behalf of the city at the VRA
Annual Meeting in Harrisonburg, Oct. 25.
